Experience our Thatched Cottages and enjoy open-plan living with a scenic veranda in a tranquil setting.

Our Thatched Cottages are open plan with a bathroom and two single beds downstairs and upstairs a mezzanine floor with a double bed. The outside veranda includes a sofa, chairs and a hammock for you to relax into while watching the varied birdlife and vervet monkeys playing in the garden. The cottages are perfect for families (for two adults and up to four children) or alternatively a maximum of 4 adults.

We offer rooms with extra beds or cots available upon request, along with mosquito nets for all sleeping areas. High chairs and plastic cups are provided to make mealtimes easier for little ones. We strive to create a stress-free, enjoyable environment, so you can focus on having a relaxing stay.

USB charging within the safety deposit box

Whether you need to charge your phone, tablet, or any other device, our charging stations offer a reliable and easy way to ensure your gadgets are always ready for your adventures. USB ports are located in the safety deposit boxes in our accommodation. Further charging stations are located in the pool lounge and at the main bar. Please note that the lodge operates on solar power 24/7 and the system cannot handle high wattage appliances such as hair dryers.

Our pool lounge provides a welcoming and comfortable space for relaxation and connectivity. The lounge offers plenty of seating, a well-stocked honesty fridge, free Wi-Fi, USB charging points and colourful beach sarongs. A perfect spot for relaxing after a morning game drive.

Murchison River Lodge serves an early bird breakfast (5:45 - 7:00) and a hot breakfast (7:00 - 9:00). Lunch is a daily changing menu (2 courses) and dinner is a daily changing menu (3 courses). Vegetarian options are always available and we cater for specific dietary requirements upon request - please advise us at the time of your booking.
